Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actress, singer and music producer. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". The main focus of her is a performer. Music is the first passion she maintains; it is something she has dabbled in since she was only nine years old. At the age of 12, music became significant enough that she was able to pursue a career in music. Following a few attempts at music, she decided to record her album of music covers when she was 14. From then on, she has not looked back. Orrantia was born in the USA but has Hispanic roots. She is proud of the reality that she is a native of Hispanic roots, even though she was raised speaking English exclusively and has never lived in Mexico. Her aim is to preserve it through the creation of Spanish songs, and also learning the Spanish language. The singer recorded the Spanish version of a track, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia participated in The X Factor season 1's auditions throughout the summer of 2011. Orrantia got four "yeses" from the judges in the Seattle live audition stage following having been selected from her YouTube video submission. The first time she auditioned, she was solo but in "Hollywood week" she was paired along with three female vocalists in a trio for the remainder of the auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week in the live show.
